Leah Keown – Director & owner of the company, Senior Bookkeeper.
I am married to an amazingly supportive husband, a mother to twin girls that are adults now, and a grandmother to Aurora.
Having worked in Accounting & Bookkeeping roles for small, medium and large sized companies as well as multiple entity companies, I started my own bookkeeping business with the support and encouragement from previous employers. I also wanted to make a difference in what I did on a daily basis and this is a reflection of who I am.
With over 25 years experience of solutions and knowledge on offer, this can only be beneficial to you and your company. I have a Diploma in Accounting, am a Certified Bookkeeper and a member of the New Zealand Bookkeepers Association Incorporated holding a Silver Bookkeeping badge, and a Member of the NZPPA.
You will find me in the garden on the weekend as much as time allows especially in the netball off season as well as soaking up the amazing outdoors on offer in the Tasman area, on my road bike or in general being outdoors.
Haley Jane Wilson – Tax Agent and Senior Bookkeeper
I live with my amazing partner, our daughter and son. I’m a country girl at heart and an animal lover. We have a dog, cats and chickens. Between my children and my pets, what spare time I have left is spent exploring our wonderful home.
I’m currently studying at Massey University, completing a Bachelor of Accountancy degree. I worked for Kiwi bank for 8 years, and then in various accounts roles, most recently I worked for the local primary school on Waiheke Island as the account manager, which involved working with the dreaded Novopay system for a few years.
I pride myself on being organised, efficient, motivated, trustworthy and loyal.
Haley brings the added benefit of being able to offer full taxation services including end of year tax compliance and financials for self employed contractors, companies, rentals and trusts.
Rachel Emery – Senior Bookkeeper
I have recently moved to the Tasman region with my husband (James) & 3 school aged children from Canterbury. We had always spent our holiday’s in the Tasman region and every time we headed back home to Canterbury we’d say one year we’ll live there and this year is the year. I enjoy spending time with my family exploring our new environment whether it be on the water, driving or walking.
Having held various accounts positions within corporates before having children, I quickly realised that they weren’t going to provide me with the work life balance I was after once I had children. I have worked with various accounting, job tracking & payroll systems (including Xero, WorkFlowMax, Simpro, SmartPayroll & iPayroll). I also hold a Dip, NZ Business, am Xero Certified, Xero payroll Certified and a Workflow Max Advisor.
Ashley Bruce- Office Administrator
Please welcome Ashley to the team. Ashley was born and bred in sunny Nelson then moved to Perth in her early twenties. After five years there, returned to home base a few years ago to raise her gorgeous wee girl – who is now about to start school! Her spare time mostly involves playgrounds and Barbies these days but she also loves to get out and explore the beaches and tracks in our region.
The majority of Ashley’s work has been managing cafe’s and bars where she really enjoyed the atmosphere and fast pace. After having her daughter she decided on a career change and studied Administration and Business Management at NMIT and soon after landed herself a role with a long-line fishing company. That evolved into a logistics role and she had the opportunity to study part time and gain three certificates in Logistics and Distribution Management. “While I am new to the industry I have found myself quite at home here and I’m very excited to join Leah and her team!”

James Turner – Website Guru.
Born and raised in the Tasman region of New Zealand, James has always had an interest in tech and solving problems. Over the past 15 years he has always worked with, in, and around all types of businesses/industries, local and global.
The majority of businesses have a hard time knowing how to, and what to, setup for a businesses tech systems. Starting from the foundation of computer hardware & networking, to the software managing the day to day operations.
In today’s world, every business is operating with tech, whether it be using a laptop, having a website, managing social media, or running a full online e-commerce store. I enjoy Solving and managing the tech side for business owners, which then frees them to focus on actually running their businesses.
“Valuable Businesses providing rewarding lifestyles for all involved”.

As a business and individual I also support the Nelson/Tasman branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters, taking time out to spend time as a big sister to a very cool little girl in Tasman.Netball is my passion.
I am also a netball coach and mentor in Nelson, mentoring both coaches and players within this role. I am also a performance coach having trained with Netball New Zealand and Netball Mainland zone. This is hugely important to me and something that gives me pleasure watching others benefit from and grow as players and people.
