James Turner – Website Guru.

Born and raised in the Tasman region of New Zealand, James has always had an interest in tech and solving problems. Over the past 15 years he has always worked with, in, and around all types of businesses/industries, local and global.

The majority of businesses have a hard time knowing how to, and what to, setup for a businesses tech systems. Starting from the foundation of computer hardware & networking, to the software managing the day to day operations.

In today’s world, every business is operating with tech, whether it be using a laptop, having a website, managing social media, or running a full online e-commerce store. I enjoy Solving and managing the tech side for business owners, which then frees them to focus on actually running their businesses.

Netball Team

As a business and individual I also support the Nelson/Tasman branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters, taking time out to spend time as a big sister to a very cool little girl in Tasman.Netball is my passion.

I am also a netball coach and mentor in Nelson, mentoring both coaches and players within this role. I am also a performance coach having trained with Netball New Zealand and Netball Mainland zone. This is hugely important to me and something that gives me pleasure watching others benefit from and grow as players and people.

I have a Diploma in Accounting,  am a Certified Bookkeeper and a member of the New Zealand Bookkeepers Association Incorporated holding a Silver Bookkeeping badge,  and a Member of the NZPPA.

Being a runner, walker, road biker and enjoying the outdoors, the native surroundings especially, led me to recently completing my first ever half marathon with another motivated business women in Nelson.

I enjoy my gardening and home grown fruit and veges. You will find me in the garden on the weekend as much as time allows especially in the netball off season as well as soaking up the amazing outdoors on offer in the Tasman area. I enjoy floral art, card making and being generally creative.

Rachel Emery – Senior Bookkeeper

I have recently moved to the Tasman region with my husband (James) & 3 school aged children from Canterbury. We had always spent our holiday’s in the Tasman region and every time we headed back home to Canterbury  we’d say one year we’ll live there and this year is the year. I enjoy spending time with my family exploring our new environment whether it be on the water, driving or walking.

Having held various accounts positions within corporates before having children, I quickly realised that they weren’t going to provide me with the work life balance I was after once I had children. So I started doing bookkeeping for some family businesses and then moved onto contracting over the last 10 years.

I am very reliable, accurate and organised bookkeeper. I have worked with various accounting, job tracking & payroll systems (including Xero, WorkFlowMax, Simpro, SmartPayroll & iPayroll).

I also hold a Dip, NZ Business, am Xero Certified, Xero payroll Certified and a Workflow Max Advisor.

I’m a passionate, professional commercial and portrait photographer, based in Nelson-Tasman-Motueka. I live with my beautiful, entertaining, ever growing 5 children and our wonderful, endlessly patient, tech design/support, Indian Chef, ridiculously handsome, Mr. Navtej Dhillon.

Nelson, our diverse business sector and the people who are the grit and soul of industry in our region never fail to inspire me.

I provide my clients with high impact, emotive and thought provoking photographic imagery. These images are designed to hold attention and so are perfect for advertising, website and social media content. I love working with light and shadow and the different ways that it can be used to tell a story, convey emotion and provoke further contemplation.

My product photography tastefully represents through beautiful imagery, the innovative products, passion and story behind these small to medium businesses.

I admire designers, I am drawn to composition and how colour, texture, sound and shape, paints and impacts our culture and environment.

I am honoured to meet and assist people from many walks of life in a variety of different and interesting regional business industries.

When I’m photographing I look for something relatable, I’m striving to show the relationships between people, objects, products and their environments, how they fit or stand out, their unique story and what this reflects about them to the world.

I would be honoured to work with you on your next project!

 What our Clients are saying:

LIFESAVER – Leah has been working with us since May 2018 and I do not know how we managed before we were referred to her. Leah helps with product solutions and streamlining all of our Bookkeeping, making my job so much easier to manage on a daily basis saving me at least a day a week in time. I honestly could not live without her in our business. Tony Scott – Director

I needed help with organising my books properly so I could confidently expand my painting business. Leah and her team have filled that role with excellence. She has been super helpful with great customer service and communication. They are always on top of things such as payroll and GST and I haven’t had to chase her once in five months of working together. I am very confident now in our business because I have clarity about my books and financials because of Leah. I highly recommend her and her team for business services. Nick – Director

“Leah has been doing our bookkeeping for one year now – I don’t know how I managed before! No more coming in to work on a Sunday to sort through invoices and pay the bills. No more staying late to chase up missing invoices etc. She is so very helpful and patient – nothing is a problem, easy to contact, and does what she says she will. If you are looking for a qualified bookkeeper I recommend Leah”. Phil – Director
